pregnancy yoga, slow flow, postnatal and restorative yoga

I teach nourishing movement, calming breath practice and supported rest, allowing people to drop into their natural state of listening, reciprocity and union with their mind, bodies and the wider world.

Yoga has multiple benefits for the body’s interconnected systems - muscular, nervous, circulatory, endocrine, digestive, immune. It’s a beautifully efficient, holistic way to experience your mind and body and find a sense of peace and vitality within and withoit. My aim is to teach a sustainable practice that supports your long-term health.

slow & steady

Sundays 9.30-10.45am at The Little Escape studio, Crystal Palace

A creative, cathartic yoga movement class to bring you back into your body, reset your energy and settle your mind for the week ahead.

This class utilises movement, breath and meditation/guided visualisation to:

  • help you come home to your body, feel more centred and grounded

  • enable you to feel re-energised

  • calm your nervous system and encourage a sense of connection

  • stretch, strengthen muscles and improve functional movement patterns for your everyday life and sense of wellness

  • increase joint stability and range of motion and improve posture

In this class there’s a playlist that helps soothe and energise as we enjoy the beautiful experience of deep listening to our bodies via movement, stillness and rest. Most people tend to find the level of effort moderate rather than intense for most of the class; you’ll feel like you’ve gently challenged yourself as well as taken the opportunity to pause and restore. A fitting practice for Sunday morning.

All welcome, whether you’re newer to yoga, have a regular or lapsed practice. All equipment provided.

PREGNANCY YOGA

Sundays 11am-12.15pm at The Little Escape Studio, Crystal Palace

A class to nourish you on the mind-body-soul journey to motherhood.

This class includes:

  • a check-in circle to develop a support network of local mums

  • energising movement to gently increase strength, decrease aches and pains and calm your nervous system

  • soothing breath practice for connecting with your baby, birth and beyond

  • teaching about pelvic anatomy, positions and approaches to birth

  • a long rest to recharge you

What makes this class different from other pregnancy yoga classes?

This 1 hr 15 minute class provides you with a chance to share how you’re doing and hear from other mums. It’s a great way to get to know each other, share information about pregnancy, birth and local health provision and get tips for dealing with pregnancy niggles and challenges.

There’s a maximum of 12 yogis, and the relatively small number means the class feels intimate and friendly. The slightly longer session also means there’s enough space to connect to your baby via meditation and breath work, and for a long rest at the end of the session.

You’ll be invited to join a what’s app group of mums-to-be and mums who have had their babies, providing an easy way to arrange coffee after class and see photos of new babies!

Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or completely new to the practice, you are very welcome in this class. All equipment provided.

Nap Club

2 hours of rest to relieve exhaustion, reduce stress and calm your nervous system

We come together to lie down in a range of positions supported by bolsters and cushions and under cosy blankets. If you're tired, exhausted or frazzled, busy or anxious, overwhelmed or your monkey mind is up to tricks; if you're in need of some time alone, time to unwind, close your eyes and rest your body, this session is for you.

Weekend 2 hour workshops.

POSTNATAL: RECONNECT

A monthly session of postnatal yoga and connection for new mothers

A nurturing few hours for new mothers to share their experiences, move and breathe and connect with other mothers.

  • Postnatal yoga to focus on stretching and gently strengthening key areas - spine, shoulders, core and pelvic floor. A movement and breath practice for nervous system regulation and to reconnect the integrity of the body's muscular system after the expansion of pregnancy and birth

  • A sharing circle to share your experiences of motherhood - both the highs and the lows (it's fine if you'd rather listen than speak)

  • Tea and cake, also for nervous system regulation!

The session is relaxed so it's totally fine when you if you need to feed or change your baby, or pop in and out to walk or jiggle a baby to sleep.

Thank you for the sessions I’ve attended with you. I’ve honestly really loved it, and rave about it/you as a teacher to anyone who’ll listen! You’re an excellent listener and so supportive of everyone’s individual circumstances. As a yoga novice at the start, I’m now a convert!

Chloe’s Sunday morning class is a truly valuable and treasured space for me to breathe, be present and grow. She creates a gentle, nurturing environment in which I can connect to my physical and emotional (well)being and feel better in my body.

Pregnancy yoga with Chloe was such a sacred space and time for me. Each week with her sensitive, insightful peaceful teaching style, Chloe would offer the opportunity for so much grounding and support to emotionally and physically make space for my new baby - she helped me to connect to him and to what my body was going through and capable of.
