REGENERATE
A two day adventure for mothers
19-21 April, Folkestone
with Chloe George, Rachel Barlow and Megan Macedo
A facilitated adventure with other brilliant women: walking, moving, pausing, journalling, sleeping, eating and opening ourselves up for a voyage of self-discovery.
Becoming a mother is a transition of a much greater magnitude than most of us could imagine. It changes us on a cellular level and often requires a re-evaluatation of choices and values, prompting uneasy questions about identity and self-worth whilst also throwing up new possibilities and ways of being.
Join us for a carefully curated two-day adventure that will help shed new light on who you are and who you might be becoming. Whether you need space to remember what lights you up, to explore your identity in this phase of mothering, or you’re wondering about your work or relationships outside of being a mother, this is for you. The Mother-Body-Story process will help you reach clarity on your next steps and give you a much more grounded sense of self.
Through a combination of facilitated discussions, story work, embodied movement and breath practice, walking, absorbing artwork, eating and pausing, we’ll explore key questions: who am I now? Who was I, and who might I become?

Why Folkestone?
Over the past decade, Folkestone's been having something of a revival. Just over an hour from London, we will be able to breathe in the spring sea air and adventure through the regenerated landscape. We'll draw inspiration from artwork that’s been installed throughout the town and the way that existing natural landscape has been used creatively for new purposes, bringing in thriving independent business and creating novel experiences. Along the way there will be pauses, journalling, time for embodied movement and breath practice, delicious food & drink and plenty of chance for conversation.
Is this for me?
Whether you’ve got a toddler or a teenager, many of us have the same questions about our identity as people and mothers. All mothers ready to do this work are welcome.
